The bar that Morgan has to reach is Robson and Keane.

I do not see anything that suggests he can come close to them.

Anybody that thinks the ridiculous specimen that was Rafael was even close to Darmian is not a football fan.

Even my granny was able to recognise that Rafael "couldn't defend for toffee".

Darmian is a proper old school right back - i.e. one that recognises being able to defend means so much more than spending most of your time rolling about in the opposition half. There are just too many reasons to go into now about why he was such an embarrassment as a right back.

Darmian has some way to go, but he is already streets ahead of the useless muppet.


the fact that someone so poor at the basics of their job was at the club so long, is precisely why the club has been heading in the direction it is.

the fact that some mugs thought he was so great is also just indicative of how poor the level of understanding and expectation of my club has become.

dropping him and booting him out were two of Moyes' and LvG's better decisions
