Gough is a RF member and has every right to stand
James Blair is a RF director and was appointed to Rangers board by King last march too
RF are fooking amateurs, I told you that Graham Campbell and others who failed to get elected have already registered a new fan group name
expect a split
esp when the merger vote goes through

RF want to remain independent which is fine, yet are putting all sorts of pressure on the club board to give them a seat at the top table
they honestly view themselves on par with likes of 3B consortium
they're not, and they never will be
for the ones who will chuck it when the merger goes through, it was always about their egos before anything

No opinion on him joining the group, nane of my beesway but I always grudgingly liked Gough back when, I say grudgingly because he was your captain during some pashy years for me fitba wise.
He seemed liked a balanced bloke who gave 100% in anything he done, looked like he was the pivot point between the squad and management, a tough job to carry off imo

I have the upmost respect for big goughie but I am really unsure where this is a good move or not
Supporters groups should be about supporters and not ex players although you can of course he both
I am totally undecided as to whether this is a good thing

Totally agree curly, goughy didn't get my vote, I think as a member of the RF board he will only get one vote same as the other board members

King and Murray will be delighted, Gough wont hold King and Murray to account. the dream of an independent fans group is gone.
Pretty poor only 16% voted

Zach<We are pretty poor when it comes to collective action.>
Nail on Head Zach.
I have stated that dozens of times since 2012.
Protest has not been in the Bear DNA for a number of reasons.
Main one is you've been the Establishment Club for a century and more.
It was perceived there was no need.
Many Tic fans have centuries of protest and agitation to fall back on.
We were divided but rivalries ended when we were facing oblivion.
If Protest was cooking you lot couldn’ae boil a fvkin egg between you.

what about james blair?
how can you wish to remain independent yet are demanding a seat at the table?
tbh it doesn't matter what they, the RST will always be the credible and leading supporter group
