Abysmal

And we were even worse.

Demichelis, did he have a bet on United before the game? That bordered on intentional incompetence. Why on earth he brought Bony on instead of Iheanacho too, I have no idea.

That game had everything to show why it is a fight for top four for both clubs this year rather than a top of the table clash. The standard has dropped so much in the last couple of years.

The biggest problem with the Pep announcement is keeping Pellegrini til the end of the season...

We hit the heights in 2014 with 2 trophies and 150+ goals.

Down hill ever since.

3 trophies though Boris.

He deserves credit for what he did two seasons ago as the football was brilliant. Since then, he's been tactically poor. Forget winning the league as that isn't going to happen every year and shouldn't be expected to, but his record against the top ten sides has been just awful this year.

Found out is a phrase that gets thrown round a lot in football, but I think unfortunately in his case...

You have to ask why we didn't bring in any cover during January for our legion of injured players.

He's had a bad year (just the one trophy and the CL quarters). We'd have been looking at sacking Fergie a few times after Mourinho first joined Chelsea.

It's all relative though post. Our points tally this season is identical to Moyes when he was with you at the same stage.

I'm a firm believer in players win you titles, managers lose them.

Seems like a mature and skilled City team was given a lesson in passion and hustle today. Never seen Aguero look so ineffective. City got a nice six minutes of "Fergie" time at the end, but never really looked likely to score.

Two seasons of underachievement. That's all there is to it really.

The last time City failed to score in both games of a season against a single Premier League opponent was against Arsenal in 2010-11.
Six of Manchester United's last seven Premier League away goals have been scored by English players.
Manuel Pellegrini's City side have failed to score in three of their past four Premier League games.
Louis van Gaal's United side have kept more clean sheets than any other Premier League side this season (14).
..........
Tacticle turtle indeed. First team to have 2 clean sheets against Man City in premierleague since 2010-11 season.
