Bahrain GP Tyre choices

Greetings lads and ladettes. I'm a fan of the additional tyres offered per race by Pirelli. Opens up the strategic options and I believe will spice up the racing significantly.

"Ferrari and Mercedes have gone in very different directions with their tyre selections for the Bahrain GP.

The Silver Arrows drivers have opted for just one set of the medium compound tyres, compared to the two Scuderia drivers who have both selected three sets of the hardest compound available. Mercedes' one set of mediums is mandatory.

The choices were made 13 weeks ago, so Mercedes race-winning decision to use the medium tyres during the Australian GP will not have impacted on Ferrari's decision.

This strategy means the Silver Arrows will have six sets of the soft tyres available for the race weekend compared to the Scuderia's four."

Should be a cracking race and a few of the tyre choices appear quite aggressive, especially with the teams with more soft tyres

What do you think?

Not really sure the super softs can survive 3-4 laps on this circuit.

So I think it will be a 3 stopper for the mercs; 2 soft and 1 medium. The Ferraris could do a 2 stopper though
