Fire Stick + Kodi

Ok so guy in the club reckons if I buy a fire stick from Argos for £35 he'll put Kodi on it for an extra £10. Then I just plug it into my tv and I'll have access to loads of free stuff. I have Wi-Fi which I understand is what it uses.

Help!!

IE

I've ordered up one of the android boxes so we'll see how it goes. Watched a couple of youtube videos last night too so hopefully I'll figure it all out in the next couple of weeks.

Was fairly easy to set up. I'm hoping once I get to know the better links on it then the pic quality of films just out etc will improve but who knows.

But the main thing is sky sports as I've only got bt

I'm the same IE. I'm basically getting it for Sky Sports.

My understanding of it is that you get different apps that show football so it might be worth having a scan around and having a few different ones.

Not too sure myself but once I downloaded Wookie it had several different sports sections with multiple links to sky sports 1 or BT or whatever so presumably you have to get to know what ones are generally best.

One cut out after 30 seconds so tried another and it seemed to work fine.

Downloaded kodi and Wookie last night

Watched a bit of sky sports 1 , decent picture.

Tried to watch London has fallen but the links were all Chinese subtitled or a terrible picture.

So in short, seems good for watching live tv but not so good for watching latest films etc

Movies that haven't yet been released on DVD are always going to look dodgy. They're usually camera recording at the cinema.

But if something is on DVD or tv, then generally the picture will be close to HD.

Kinda thought that would be the case with the newer films tho showbox seems to have a few that aren't filmed with a camera at cinema but seem to be some kind of original where it's a proper recording but has a time counter on it but apart from that pic is great

Will check out those sites you posted
