Good away following. Looks like a lot of season tkt holders have given it a miss today. Done ok to hold it to 0-0 with the 5 man midfield. Not a lot you can do if you don't have quality attacking players or a striker. Been fighting the odds all season with that. That's where lennon went wrong. Should have used his budget on a striker and forget dobbie, wilson, prince etc and chucked maher holding in earlier.

We looked decent last 15-20 minutes of the half.
Priority this summer has to be to hold on to the likes of Clough and Holding. There is a spine of youngsters we can build a squad around if we can keep hold of them.

Got to prioritise getting 2 or 3 strikers in this summer. Embarrassing playing trotter up front when heskey came off. Having a quality striker won the game for boro. The only positive is at least the result stuffs Burnley.

This back in blighty lark is not for me there was this frozen water falling from the skies yesterday and frozen cold ground this morning.
I've read the match reports and message board it sounds like I missed actually seeing some improvement with my own eyes. Is that correct ?
I'll have to reschedule seeing a match while I'm here in between running round sorting my dad out.
