Cardiff City v Bolton Wanderers

The season is over for Bolton fans but there are still 3 more matches to go before the end of the most miserable season in the clubs history. Today the long trip to Cardiff. A happy day last season Easter Monday 6th April 2015, the sun was shining and there was still optimism for the future as goals from eidur gudjohnsen and Craig davies(2) gave Bolton a 3-0 win. All downhill since as Bolton have not won away since then. Whilst Bolton are guaranteed to finish bottom, Cardiff in 7th need to win to have a sniff of making up the 6 point gap to the play off positions. Team news. Still no spearing , madine, Clayton and now mavies injured. Also missing is the lesser spotted twardzik sent out on trial to Slavia Prague. A promise for youth to get a start. Moxey and trotter are being left behind, the fitness of dervite and Silva is unclear. Heskey and wheater are guaranteed to start as leaders to a team of younger players including Clough, Vela, holding, Maher, threlkeld, Walker.

will we be able to lose against Fulham and keep our away record intact for the this season?

Possession stats. Cardiff 77% bolton 23. Like reading being down to 10 men contributed but you don't concedw when you have possession of the ball. Must do better. Also lack of a natural goalscorer contributed to the defeat. 2 areas that must be improved upon next season otherwise its just another struggle.

Hi all. Sorry I wasn't on for the match today. Been working and didn't get home till after 6. What reports I have read and heard say it was a brave fight by our youngsters but was that really so or are the reporters just being kind?

When was the last bolton player to jump into the crowd to celebrate a winning goal. I really hate football at the end moment.

Palace in the cup final. Think we did them a big favour taking double off their hands.
