Shane Cansdell-Sherriff

It is possible that Shane is returning to his native Australia at the end of the season. He has been superb for the club and he has been a bedrock at the heart of the defence - particularly with Moose. I would like to wish him all the best if he does leave and thank him for his part in what we have achieved in recent years. He has responded to the tributes made to him on Saturday.

Shane would just like to say
"over the past few weeks I have been humbled by the support all the fans have shown me. Today was the icing on the cake for what has been 3 fantastic seasons for The Brewers. To have flags of my home nation and people wearing corkscrew hats was amazing and to have family members who had just flown in to see it for themselves. The team has been special and we have achieved so much in such a short time. My future is not clear at the moment but what ever it holds I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to have the support of our fans as players. But it's not over yet. One more game to go depending on Mondays result. One last push."
