Canelo v Khan Buildup & Fight Thread

Turned out pretty much as the knowledgeable on here said it would.
Gareth A Davis of the telegraph reckoned Khan will make somewhere in the Region of 9m dollars so there is your answer to why he took the fight. He only had a couple more pay days in him and a Ko from another less attractive fight finished him. Looks a certain stadium fight if the money suits v brook.

That you were wrong about Canelo only taking one round up to that point. If it had continued in the same fashion all fight without a knockout, Khan wouldn't have claimed a points victory because, for all his flash, he wasn't really doing anything.

Seems only you and the judges believed that

And we know the reputation of most those judges

I'd rather go off the judge's scorecard because, rightly or wrongly, those three views on the fight are the only views that matter in the event of a decision being needed.

For the record, I had the first 2 rounds to Khan. The 3rd I couldn't decide and from the 4th onwards it was inevitable.

Canelo was up on the points card before the KO punch.

Corrupt Judged Khan won at least 4 rounds. Pretty much all ringside observers had him winning.

A robbery was on the cards.

I had it as 4 - 1 Khan but as canelo started to close the space the outcome was inevitable. The judges cards over the first 5 rounds were odd though.

No doubt. Canelo was swinging in some range finders, landed some nice hook which Khan took, but clearly felt them. Then went to the body and you can see Khan change. He was hurt, got some fear and his gameplan fell apart. Got out of position tentatively threw out his shots, then tried hooking with a hooker.

The judges cards were corupt

The judge who had it 4-1 in favour of Canelo I don't understand. 3-2 to Canelo is understandable but I was it as 2-2/3-2 to Khan. The body shots and forward movement from Canelo were telling.
