NOT GUILTY!

This is significant - Cellino acquitted on appeal of breaking the law by importing Range Rover from the USA to Italy:

The Range Rover case was the basis for Cellino's 223-day ban by the Football League, a disqualification he is still appealing. #lufc

Football League bans only apply to criminal offences. Reports say Cellino has been acquitted of any criminal wrongdoing in this case. #lufc

Cellino is having the Range Rover returned to him (it was confiscated) and won't be asked to pay the original fine of 40,000 Euros.

I`d sue the Football League if I was him....

Is this like getting caught speeding at 80, appealing and then getting lucky cos the speed limit has increased since you got caught?

I wonder if that would work in the UK legal system- I very much doubt it?

Still not dtill.

Very bad news. FL will have no grounds to enforce a ban.

They'll be something else soon enough. But we're stuck with Cellino for a while longer.

Thing is, he's not guilty. According to their laws.

As I said - things going on behind the scenes:

Announced by Companies House that Ercole Cellino has resigned as a director of Leeds United. #lufc

Perhaps the delay in dealing with Steve Evans future is to do with the possibility that if new owners were to come in they would want to appoint their own man rather than have to release/pay up someone who has just been given a new contract under the old regime.

Makes you wonder...

Can someone tell me of a club where things don't go on behind the scenes...?

Some comments on here make me wonder EW. You bringing logic to the table doesn't help either.

Ripon, I suggest you go back and research the articles and postings, you may find something different!
