Fabregas' odds for winning the world player of the year 2011/12 have been SLASHED.
He's currently third favourite behind the obvious top 2, Ronaldo and Messi.
Bloody hell. 24 million we got for him from Barca. 15 million extra is just add-ons we COULD get.
It looks a bit silly now.
Fabregas 3rd favourite to win WPOTY

I guess that myth that nobody does good after leaving Arsenal has been put to rest in the less than two months.

didn't henry put it to myth?

Henry never really improved himself as a footballer after he left us though. I think the only guy that has was Cashley. Cesc and Nasri will too, they both have 10 years left in them and have not even peaked yet, people who think they will fail now they have left us are deluded.

Henry was better for you than cesc so it was harder for him agree? Henry was by far and away the best player in the prem during his time here. With Cesc that was debateable throughout his stay in the PL. He is doing great atm. Long may it continue as it is great to watch!

Cesc was the best player in the Prem since 09/10.

Is he honestly going to get it over Xavi or Iniesta? I think he's at their level, actually. He's got the attacking role at Barca that we rarely gave him at Arsenal, he got 15 in 09/10 but apart from that...
Oh, and a short time in october 2007.

There are many players that have disproved that myth, actually it should be written that those who leave on bad terms with the club don't usually do well.
Van Bronkhourst, Sylvinho did better out of Arsenal than at Arsenal.
