How on earth do you get this guy out? I actually can't even remember the last time I saw him get out at the start of an innings. The only times recently I've seen him get out has been when the game has pretty much been won. Pakistan bottled it (as always) against him in the World T20 and the Asia Cup. He was very consistent throughout the World T20.
In the IPL he's already scored the most runs. On Saturday both him and De Villiers destroyed the Gujarat Lions bowling attack and both scored centuries.Yet again today against the mighty Kolkata Knight Riders who are the team I am routing for. He scored 70 odd not out, and comfortably chased down 184. Yet again though he had a match winning partnership with De Villiers. Bowlers just can't seem to bowl to him, he never looks like getting out. He's such a pain the backside and I despise him but you just cannot take anything away from this young man. He is the best player in the world!

Finally he's out 113 of 50 balls. Absolutely incredible hitting. Would have quite enjoyed that innings had it not been against Punjab.

I agree that Kohli has the talent and potential but still long ways to go in comparison to legends like Sachin. Also please take notice in regards to size and quality of bats, along with changes made especially in shorter formats in favor of batsmen. Plus the quality of bowlers are lot inferior when Sachin faced in his prime time. All in all, Kohli definitely is one of the best batsmen in today's time and hope he continues this for a very long time.

How can you say that the bowlers aren't inferior? Don't get me wrong there are some very good bowlers about... But no way near in the class as the Pakistanis, South Africans, austrailians, lankans at the time of sachin. Thats a key factor in my book.

With the very few matches kohli has played compared to the likes of tendulkar, he has shown really good consistency and hunger. In the limited overs I think he is better than any player ever that has played this game. This year kohli has been very consistent. He started off very well on Australia in the one days and has been so good in t20s. Now India will play 17 tests from now until March next year. If he does well in these matches, he will be the best batsmen in the world.
