I don't think that's a bad shout to be honest, although I've no idea what we're doing with Kawashima - he wasn't listed along with all the other players to be released but I thought his deal was up in the summer? Can't imagine he'd want to stay for the Scottish Championship.

I have a great fear that we're going to start the season with Zwick in the goal again.

Thanks for the welcome back - I do come on and read the posts but I apologise for not posting as much!
Don't get to as many games as I would like so feel like a fraud when posting - went to the ICT game at Tannadice and that could have turned many people off football, glad that Hughes never got the United gig because that would be awful to watch week in week out.
Disappointed for Mixu but the style of football was awful, clearly had the players playing with fear, when Young came in there was a bit more fluency about the side and 10 goals in 3 games (even with all the pressure off) is a great return, we just need to really work on our defence.
I think we have the right man in McKinnon, hooefully do a rebuilding job similar to Levein and Houston and make Tannadice an attractive place to develop as professionals instead of the doom and gloom of the last 18 months.

Back to the op, there was suggestions that Eiji has signed a 1 year extension. Surprised at that.

Yeah, I saw that, decent keeper but I don't think he's what we need and Alexander would be a cheaper option I think.
But then I thought that Simon Murray was a diddy and he ended up our top scorer from in play situations!

I'd personally have a look at Brill who has just been released from ICT after playing second fiddle to Fon Williams all season. I've also thought he's a good goalie.

I agree, it still baffles me that with the number of decent keepers out of contract last season we decided to go with Zwick and Szmornik!
