Another Sad Day For The Arsenal footy fan

Charging £100 for the new Arsenal home kit is a new low.

There are some supporters who are season ticket holders (and the cost of those tickets is another story). Others just buy the merchandise (which include the kits). But there is a sizeable amount of us that do it all (this includes traveling to even the away matches). When you consider that there are those of us that may have children to provide these essential furnishing for (seasonally) you get the picture that Gooner fans shoulder huge responsibilities to support their club. And to think that last season Wenger did not buy one out field player during the summer transfer window....well it's enough to drive one to protest

PS: The design of the new kit (imo), is cool.

Do you wear the shorts and socks to matches, goonertic? Sneak on a pair of shinpads no doubt.

By matches you mean to the pub on match day, right?

Still have my shirt from 2007. My parents bought me an adult one for my thirteenth birthday. It's only been showing its age in the last couple of years. Buying a new one every year is incomprehensible.

Also helps that the 2006-2008 shirt is one of the top three home shirts we've had in the premier league era.

For those who are curious, the other two are 1996-1998 and 2004-5

Why do we have a new home kit every year??? Been going on for at least 3 years now. What happened to the kit changing every other year? Now it's 3 new kits a season. Granted, have not bought one since 2012.

Pires threw his shirt in the crowd at Cardiff and a guy near me caught it, he let wear the muddy kit for a photo, it was so comfortable, the badge was a sticker not a thready badge thing, it's good they let you buy the real one now, fook the fake replica one. The replica is a waste of money the real kit is what it is. You can buy match worn shirts for the same price as replicas if you don't mind it's a couple of seasons old, but is real.

If you don't like the price don't buy it. By the way, bogus, cheaper versions are probably on their way from some foreign sweatshop as we discuss.
