Apparently Cellino will actually push ahead with compensation and hold talks with Clarke. I know Cellino's negotiation skills need some work, but I doubt Clarke would be able to resist the job at Leeds.
What do we think about this appointment then?
Personally, under normal circumstances (as in not under Cellino), I'd be fairly happy with this guy. It's a massive step up, but he's a young manager, experience of lower leagues, two promotions in a row. It's a risk, but one of those risks you'd rather see us make than Darko or Hockaday.

Any manager on the come up would love to manage us, no question. However all that is offset with the fact that we are run by a moron. Any incoming manager should have reassurances that they will be given money and time...however Massimo is a liar, so thats not a concrete entity.
This guy is a proven lower league managerial success story, and as such could land us so much talent from the lower leagues. Whatever Massimo does, he has to let the guy have free reign to do his tuff and not interfere and be a shadow over the shoulder.
