Will Jose be judged like Moyes/LVG?

Will Jose be judged as harshly on here as Moyes and LVG were? Or do you think many of the United posters on here will be a lot more forgiving of him than they ever were of his 2 most recent predecessors?

Obviously we can all say right now that individually we'll give him no more slack than we gave Moyes or van Gaal. But when the chips are down and things aren't going well at times this coming season, which is inevitable, do you expect Jose to be criticised as heavily as the other 2 managers?

Personally, I think that so many have made Jose Mourinho their "chosen one" this last few months(years), that we'll see a lot more excuses made for him than either of the other 2 men appointed since Sir Alex retired. I think we'll see a lot of heels being dug in and infighting on this board as the posters who've championed the Portuguese so loudly are faced with the fact that Jose Mourinho isn't special. He's just a bloke who's got to prove he deserves his new job.

He's going to be criticised at times, and he's going to get things wrong. Many are hoping he's going to be a saviour-like figure who'll swoop in and put everything right in a few seasons.

I hope everyone, advocate of Jose getting the job or not, can praise him when he deserves it and acknowledge when he's at fault.

We see favouritism all the time with players. It wouldn't be a shock to me to see A LOT of hypocrisy when it comes to Jose on here in the coming season.

What do you recon?

Why are we expecting season on season improvement ?

LVG took us out of the top 4.

.........................................

Which is why he got fired and criticised constantly...

It's season on season improvement or constant criticism.

Well, in the name of consistency anyway.

TBH we had plenty of complaining when LVG had us around 3rd so even with Jose doing relatively well there will be plenty of scope for criticism.

Probably because the football had us all on the verge of poking our eyes out with a rusty, aids infested nail.

I watch league 2 football every week which is more entertaining- not including yesterdays playoff at wembley, what a load of shiet that was. Amazing stadium though, first time I ever been.

________________

By some yes, by others no. Not everyone judged these two managers equally harshly.

I guarantee though that nobody will be calling for Jose's head after just three months - like some people were with LVG - regardless of how he performs.

Those who have trumpeted jose most loudly over the last 6 months will undoubtedly defend him more aggressively than anyone else if he falters.

I have filtered most of the hypocrites on this forum so hopefully I won't have to witness any of the silly arguments we have in store next season.

I criticised Moyes and LVG before we performed badly under them and neither where thr right man to take us forward. I personally believe Jose is, but if he performs as Moyes and LVG did, will be subject to the same criticism
