Leeds United can confirm that the Club has parted company with head coach Steve Evans. Evans, along with his assistant Paul Raynor, leaves with the Club’s best wishes following a seven-month stay at Elland Road. United chairman Massimo Cellino said: “I would like to thank Steve Evans for his efforts as the head coach of Leeds United. “Steve completed the job he was brought in to carry out – to keep the team in the Championship - and his hard work here has been greatly appreciated. I wish him and Paul Raynor the very best for the future. “We have, however, decided that a different approach is required in order to achieve our targets for the new season. “The Club is now looking to appoint a new head coach to build on the good work of Steve and Paul and deliver the special season which our supporters deserve." The process to appoint a new head coach is underway and a further announcement will be made here on leedsunited.com in due course.

MC is a coward and has no respect for anyone. The man is from another planet. He has dragged this club in his own dirt. Makes my blood boil.....

He will bring in someone on the cheap, possibly from abroad, who will fail, sack him, bring someone else in in a panic who will also fail, we will be floundering around towards the bottom of the league, he will sack that person and bring in someone to help keep us up.
Sooner or later that tactic will fail.
If I was Charlie, Lewis, Alex etc, not sure I would want to stay on at ER next year (or when the contracts are renewed).
Next season we will be relegated mark my words.

Surely it's no coincidence that Evans sacking was announced on the deadline for the season ticket refund offer. How many are already regretting buying one?

Now our longest serving sponsor pulls out due to us being an embarrassment!
How apt.

Boss of Crosswater is a mate of mine, long term fan lives in Kent goes up to ER every other week.
Needs people like this to speak out and then hopefully Cellino and apologists get the message.
David is dead right, its now embarrassing talking about Leeds, no dignity or integrity in club at the moment.
