The big news is not so much that we have QOTS at Tannadice in the first game of the season, but more that United have, in their infinite wisdom, decide to charge a flat rate of £22 per game for every match of the season rather than have category A and B games. Needless to say the twitterati are not happy at the perceived increase in prices for pay at the gate.
I have a season ticket so I don't care.
Seriously though, a bit daft to annoy the fans once more from United. Another own goal.
Anyway, QOTS at home first game of the season. Looking at the good trips, we've got Dunfermline and Falkirk away in successive weekends in September and then Hibs away first weekend in October. My wallet will take a battering. Hogmanay in Dumbarton may not be particularly alluring, while we finish the campaign away at Morton.
What a time to be alive.
Mon the Terrors.

I moan about this every season, why can't the fixtures go Home Away Home Away Home Away all the time instead of all the doublers we get? It's really annoying. Anyway, like you said the removal of categories is t going down well, although it means that my season ticket saving is pretty decent now that every single top tier match is £24!
Wonder if St Mirren at Tannadice on Christmas Eve will be a sell out... Buddies fans would all have to set their Sky Plus box to record Carols from Kings!

Just read that both us and Dundee are scheduled to be at home on Christmas Eve
I think they're saying you save somewhere in the vicinity of £100 if you get a ST. About time season ticket holders saw a bit of value compared to pay at the gate punters.

£72 saving for me so fairly happy with that to be honest. Wonder if they'll shift one of the matches to the Friday night...? Who are Dundee playing?
