Any chance we could deport Mourinho?

If they start making footballers who don't qualify leave, then that will open up a huge can of worms.

You would then have to start doing it with the citizens we already have here and that won't happen.

The VISA/work permit rules will be eventually relaxed post Brexit, that's pretty obvious.

The UK is still heavily reliant on immigration and professional footballers would count as "skilled" migrants.

Extra paperwork but IMO it will actually make it easier to sign non-EU players than before and it won't be too tricky to sign EU players (the same new relaxed rules will apply).

This doesn't seem to take into account the precedent set with non EU nationals. IE that players regularly playing for their national side qualify for a permit. Seems silly to say that someone like DeGea is at risk.
