Vardy Did Not Snub Arsenal

Let's get this straight: the moment Arsenal triggered his release clause, his head turned. How we knew about this clause is up in the air, but I'm pretty sure either him or his agent had a hand in it. Did he show us he door at that point? Nope! He was considering the offer until his club countered!

Did he snub Arsenal? Never! What's snubbing? You walk into a club full of women and a few men. You walk up to a cute lady, who doesn't even blink and eye before showing you away. Now, that's a snub!

But when a lady engages in a chat with you until maybe her boyfriend comes around and she politely walks away with him? That's no snub folks. She enjoyed your company but decided to play it safe by moving on with her man. No harm in that.

Enjoy your day folks!

Oh I get it! Folks don't understand the meaning of snub. Makes sense now. Here's the meaning:

"an act of showing disdain or a lack of cordiality by rebuffing or ignoring someone."

Didn't see that from Vardy. All I saw was someone presented with two options and chose one. Simple!

He looked you up and down, looked at what he already had, then accepted less money not to play for you.

Pretty strong "rebuffing" to use your definition of a snub.

I used snub in my article only to emphasise that he decided to take the safe option and remain with Leicester. As a career move, its a bad move and he knows it but people make these sort of decisions in other careers.

You appear to be bothered by his decision which worries me considering you know his head was turned.

People will always call it a snub even if they know he really wanted to take the arsenal gig.Its like when Sanchez snubbed liverpool who had offered him more money, the pro liverpool media spinned it to make it out that his decision was based on location and liverpool was a better prospect despite location which was not the entire truth.

Just like UKIP lying to uninformed voters that 350m will be given to NHS.

We still attract good players and are probably up there with united and city as the best club to play for.City & United trump us on money but thats it really.

Not bothered to be fair, would have hated the Vardy circus anyway.

Sign Vardy and the same people laughing at the "snub" would be saying we signed an aging one season wonder

No point worrying about it

Leicester offered him a huge pay rise. The amount hasnt been published that I have seen. They are using the money from last season to pay their best players far more and keep them.
