We reeeeeaaaaaaally need a CF this summer nobody can doubt that but as always we're struggling and don't be surprised if we have to settle with options from within again knowing Wenger.
Now if this does become the case Wenger ABSOLUTELY HAS to find a way for our 2 best goal scorers to work together. I've said previously that they're not compatible in our current system but will that change if both are up front.
Alexis is better central as we know and Giroud is better with someone playing off him. Alexis doesn't attack space like Griezmann does but he may be more inclined to do so in a central position.
This would push Ozil wide unfortunately but he's capable (from the right) and we need goals.
We'd need a left-midfielder that can tuck in and help defensively and our pivot will have to be disciplined.

Jack did well off the left in 13-14 as he helped tuck in but also roamed a fair bit too and sometimes Rosicky would drift there, Alexis could do this. I've included Gibbs because he overlaps better than Monreal, I'd prefer a new LB tbh.
Elneny is the only CM that has the engine to support defensively and offensively in a disciplined manner.
Hopefully it doesn't come to this but if we don't find a CF then we have to reshape what we have.

The only issue with having Giroud in a front two is that you have Giroud starting up front again for Arsenal - he's not good enough, it's not the system it's the sub-par player.
