STEPHEN MCGOWAN: Celtic have won the race for highly-rated Fulham striker Moussa Dembele.
Sportsmail understands the 19-year-old is in Glasgow undergoing a medical after agreeing terms and is poised to become the first signing of new manager Brendan Rodgers.
Out of contract at Championship Fulham following 17 goals in all competitions last season, Dembele had options on the continent, but wanted to stay in British football.
Linked with raft of clubs including Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Paris St Germain and Juventus the capture of the French under-20 international represents a coup for new Parkhead boss Rodgers.
Dembele joined Fulham from PSG in 2012 and will bolster the attacking options following the departures of Anthony Stokes, Colin Kazim-Richards and Carlton Cole.
Under 24, Dembele requires a compensation payment to Fulham. A fee of around £350,000 is expected to change hands after the London club were unable to persuade the striker to stay put.

Curly - I have already posted a link which proves he is not a reject - why have you chosen to ignore it? Fulham could have got £6 million for MD in January - but Spurs wouldn't Ioan him back out. They decide not to sell and his goals (along with those of Ross McCormack) helped keep Fulham in the Championship
Reject
