For the benefit of the Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Burton Albion, Leeds United and Derby fans who may wish to participate, this competition runs for the whole season and has 40+ rounds. It only includes Championship matches. Some rounds have all 12 matches and some will have up to 24 as there are midweek games too. Each round will run from the Friday game through to the Wednesday/Thursday game.
So time to launch the competition for the 5th season. Congratulations to cinciwolf on winning last season (again).
The rules are very simple, just select your predictions for each round and post them. A change in the jokers ruling will apply this season. You will still have 10 jokers to use at anytime throughout the season. However, last season some left most their jokers until the last round, hoping to gain an advantage by selecting all draws. It didn't have the desired effect, but as there will hopefully be prizes again, I think it's fair all round to change the rules slightly. See below for those changes.
So firstly, here is points system for this seasons competition:-
Correct score:-
Draw 6 points, Away win 5 points, Home win 4 points
Correct result:-
Draw 3 points, Away win 2 points, Home win 1 point
10 jokers are available for the whole season and can be used at any time during the 40+ rounds. MAXIMUM amount of jokers for any round will be restricted to up to 3. Correct scores will be x3 points and correct results x2 points when jokers are used.
At the end of each month, the player/s with the most correct results for that month will be awarded 10 bonus points. Those with the second highest correct results 5 points and those with the third highest 2 points.
If any poster thinks he'll miss a round or two (i.e. vacation etc) then I'm willing to post the rounds they'll be away, in advance, thus they won't miss any.
I'll contact the admins again and see if the same prizes can be awarded for this seasons competition.

I have considered other options bannoram, including your Fri-Mon one. But that may mean just 1 game midweek for a side not playing at the weekend.

Op went ok, thanks Ohso. Having a home P/T at the moment to help with the exercises. Pain level not too bad and getting easier by the day. Have 28 staples, which should be coming out today, should the nurse show up.
