Giroud in part exchange for Higuain

Its happening folks.

I know someone who has friends in football who has just told me this is happening. His contacts includde a coulpe of Arsenal legends from the 70s and 80s still involved with the club. He has just told me its happening. Only time will tell if he is an ITK or a wum though, but he seems confident its true.

How do you guys feel about Higuain?

If this was United, I'd be questioning it. A lot of money for a 28 year old who's never played in the PL.

Tbh I just want a striker who can score goals, which Higuain clearly can, it's at the point I don't care what price we pay (provided it's not like a £35m on Carroll situation).

But then if we were splashing £100m on Pogba I'd be questioning that too, depends on what your team needs for the upcoming season.

With the money in the game now I don't think crazy prices for even average players should be questioned anymore, sadly it's the norm.

How could anyone in their right minds question Higuain? I still doubt very much it will go through. Higuain however has been top scorer in Spain and Italy. He is undoubtedly one of the top strikers in the world and will be in England if he came here.

Yeh, fair comment.

The £100m situation is crazy, although at least he's young enough to hold some value.

Spot on.

The other thing that confuses me is when Arsenal fans come up with "he misses chances in big games", is there a striker who doesn't? At least with Higuain if he missed a chance, I'd be fairly confident of him making amends and scoring later on - something I don't get with Giroud.

But you're right, I doubt this move will happen. Higuain is the new Benzema/Kalou

Kalou's agent wanted Arsenal.

However you are right about Benzema. Its the usual pot of gold we gooners have been sold for the last 4 years.
