Newcastle 8/11 at Coral for promotion, not bad going on some of the opinions on here.
I thought West Ham would walk it about 4 years ago, but needed the playoffs to get back up. Maybe Newcastle are far better than them?

Lets face it the premier league parachute payments makes it easier for relegated teams to get promoted and makes it harder for the rest of us without a rich owner.

I was talking about marquee signings. You haven't made any neither have we.
You are just like us signed unknowns. Yet the guy who did the table puts you 6th so he must know something we don't.

Marquee signings? We have broken our transfer record in fairness so it's not like we're not having a good go this year. That said, I'll be the first to admit it could go just as bad as it could good. Our optimism stems mainly from trust in the gaffer. He got our ragtag bunch playing some really nice football last term, trouble was we just couldn't defend at all. He seems to have addressed that issue first of all and also added masses of flair as well. We'll see, but I'm cautiously optimistic at this point in time.

I really have no bloody idea what will happen.

I'd call the likes of Matt Ritchie a marquee signing. A statement of intent. Nearest we have done is Roofe who played in League 2 last year!!!

Neither do I, so crap if what I've said goes wrong!.
Thing is everyone saying/asking where they think who is going to finish, but at the moment some of the unknowns could well make that signing we we're after, you know, the e-mail thing at the last minute off New Year!..
Or was it the last minute off the window?.

Yeah fair dos, I get your point. Really not seen much of Roofe except for snippets on the footy league highlights but the bits I've seen he does look good. One great season for you and I think the Prem sides would be very interested. I can actually see you turning a very healthy profit out of him at the very least.
