King Arthur trailer

Wow, this trailer looks awful. It's like they got a focus group together and said name everything you know about King Arthur and then they just binned what people suggested.

Layer Cake was Matthew Vaughn (who produced Lock Stock)

He's gone on to direct some good movies (Kick Ass, Stardust, Kingsmen) and he married Claudia Schiffer so the guy is basically the man

Yea he won at life.

Rocknrolla, lol. I'll give you Lock Stock because at the time it was genuinely interesting and quite unique, but it spawned so many awful London geezer gangsta movies that are somehow still being made today. Snatch has its moments but tries too hard and the editing and styling are pretty irritating. The rest are dogsh-t, he's a poor director.

Ritchie now working for Asylum films ?
I ask because the film above looks similiar to that level of cheap awfullness.

Dont care much for Matthew Vaughn either. The conservative and Dave Cameron chum has yet to make a film I truly care about.
True that it doesn't help that he's abit of a big headed plum.

King Arthur is a myth, a fictional story. He hangs around with a fekkin wizard FFS, who is looking for historical accuracy?

In saying that, it will be terrible.
-----------

They should just turn Bernard Cornwell's warlord trilogy into a a series of films. It is pretty historically accurate and very clever when it comes to the magic, with lots of it being science that only the druids understand. A fantastic series for anyone who likes King Arthur.

Graham Chapman will forever be the best King Arthur put to screen.

Very true.

Ritchie can be hit and miss.

Revolver and Swept away were among the worst films I've seen. I quite enjoyed Snatch and the first Sherlock Holmes movie though.

I've rarely agreed with every word of a post as much as I agree with this one.
