My other concern is that if he does sign for us it is purely for money and he will be a bit of a circus further down the line.

Possibly. He left us to go to Juve and by all accounts worked hard to succeed there at an age where he could have gone either way so I'm not worried too much about his on pitch attitude.

I think either way something will be announced this week as his holiday is due to finish on Friday/Saturday
