I think we have enough for our league. Thank you for registering your interest. This is a competition for Brewers fans only with the exception of our resident Robin friend Don Touched My Boots and our Ram friend Marco should they wish to join in again.
As we know it is a long haul and the points system and bonuses on offer means that it can go down to the wire. Let's remind ourselves of the points system:
- 5 points for correctly predicting the score;
- 3 points for correctly predicting the result; and
- 1 point for entering an incorrect prediction on result and score.
The bonus point values are fairly random as are the games in which they will be on offer. A at the top of a match thread denotes a bonus point game and you will be invited to predict all manner of different things.
A new feature this season will be the dreaded games in which you can lose points. They will have a icon at the top of a thread. Beware the dreaded donut!
One important rule. You must enter your prediction before kick off. Predictions entered one second after a game has started will be null and void.
So, let's get started. The bonus points question is worth 3 points. Who will score our first ever Championship goal? That player will join the following in making history;
- Super Greg (8th August 2009) scoring in a 3-1 defeat at Shrewsbury. Our first ever league 2 goal.
- Bev (8th August 2015) scoring in a 2-1 win at home to Scunthorpe. Our first ever league 1 goal.
If we fail to score at Forest, your prediction carries over to the next game automatically and keeps carrying over until we do score (perish the thought that we have to wait a while for this).
Of course, a match score prediction is needed from you too.

I promise I won't ramble on so much with future match threads. This needed to be done to get us started.
One final thought. I am neither going to get tired of selecting 'Championship' for the league my club is in when creating threads for matches and the league tables nor in typing the names of many of the clubs that we will be playing.

Hi everyone and welcome back, Otep
A very proud day for all Brewers fans today and a clear massage to all lower League & non League clubs that football fairytales can come true.
I went to a few friendlies and some may say they don't mean much, but the first team we put out against QPR and Stoke looked a very solid unit.
All I want this season is for the Brewers is to hold their own in the Championship and if other teams want points from us they are going to have to work for them.
I have a feeling some teams will show their class in some games and the Brewers will suprise a lot of other teams this season.
Today will be a Brewers classic again.

I am going to go for a 2-0 defeat today. I was all geared up for a 0-0 draw today but I have lost my nerve just prior to getting ready and jumping in the car. My football pessism rejoins me just before the start of the season.
My goalscorer will be Lucas Akins. It was going to be Naylor. Then Dyer. Then O'Grady. My football indecision rejoins me just before the start of the season.
