You will no doubt recall that this predicting fun extends as far as a cup competition. The cup campaigns and the points associated with it run independently of the league itself. The winner of the cup is whoever has amassed the most points when we bow out of all cup competitions which might be in the FA Cup final itself - or it might be in January.
With every cup game, it is the score after 90 minutes that you predict.
The tough bonus points challenge for this is to predict the attendance. Nearest wins and will collect 2 points in the process.
I note that this game kicks off at 7.30pm by the way, and not the usual 7.45pm. And it is on Wednesday night, not Tuesday. Please don't turn up on the wrong day or at the wrong time.
In the Predictor League itself, yesterday wasn't all bad news folks. I am top of the table !
Brewers Predictor (Cup 1): Bury
posted on 7/8/16
In recent years there has been a trend for Championship sides to be knocked out by lower opposition. I cite our outing to Bolton Wanderers as a recent example!
On that basis, and on the comments that Nigel made post match on Saturday about the four remaining league fixtures ahead of the international break at the beginning of September, I will predict Brewers 2nd X1 1 Shakers 2.
Attendance 1,966.

I reckon the following will apply;
- We will be surprised by how many turn up for this. Normally a poor crowd, it will be well attended as folk will want to see the new players, it is our first home game, there is a good feeling in the town about the club and it is cheap to get in too.
- It will be a mixture of first 11 and those seemingly on the fringe. The former will want to impress on their home debut, the latter will want to be in the first 11.
- The squad talent will be enough to blast Bury away 3-1.
- We will have a crowd of 3,313.

Bury are always hard to play against and will be a good test for the Brewers.
However things have changed for us from the last time we met and I would think we have the players who can show their class.
I agree with you Otep on the Attendance, a lot of fans will not do friendless and not gone to Forrest.
Bury won't bring many, but I am going for 3,100.
The big one will be Saturdays home opener for a lot of fans.
Burton Albion FC 2 - 1 Bury FC.
