Fair point, I was wrong he was with them smiling away whilst they did and then apologised but didn't urunate himself.

But my point in his character still stands. Not expecting angels at our club but signing people like Diouf and Ayling etc just shows lack of any behavioural standards at club.

Did you feel the same about Woodgate , Bowyer and co?

Battywack, yep, and very disappointed that Riddle backtracked on his statements about not playing for club again.

These players are role models and representatives of the club. I want to feel proud of my club not have to make excuses for why players assault people etc.

Was the same with Norris and his sick salute, hate this sort of behaviour, don't want people like that at the club.

Jonty i respect that, many people forget as long as players are performing.

Back to the signings whats going on with Bridcutt?

I get where you're coming from Jonty, but there's a big difference for me between laughing at someone throwing some p iss and brutually attacking an asian student.

Jonty ........... I sort of agree with you. But as said above by BF, he's guilty of being a bit pished and having a laugh at something disgusting.

Hands up who's not done that ?!?!?!?!?

Has he repeated or done anything embarrassing since? If not we could cut the guy some slack and judge him on how he kicks the ball and opposition players .............

I'm quite binary about this behaviour, we have strong code if respect in tennis (not always adhered to at elite level) Naomi Broady for example lost all her LTA funding aged about 17 for posting picture of herself by a condom machine in a toilet.

If kids swear, tease or hit at my club they have one warning maximum then they're asked to leave the club.

Best, there is, but would you think it's nothing major then if you had a pint of someone's pi ss poured over you or your wife?

I want leaders at our club. Players the youngsters learn from. Do you want Coyle or Vieira hanging out with people like this and thinking it's ok to do the same things?

Why not make sure inbounds will lead by example?

I've played "freckles" in the past ........... a pint of pee would have been light relief in comparison ..........

We'd all love a club full of footballing genius and angels - or would we? Reality is they're all young guys, earning great salaries, enjoying life. So they feck up from time to time. We don't live in a perfect world - and thankfully not.

I'd argue tennis needs to grow up a little if a young 17 year old gets punished like that for something so innocuous ?!?!?!?

I don't agree with the punishment either VOF but just giving context to where I'm coming from in terms of expectations on players behaving responsibly.
