Also as champions, some of the players might feel they are above teams like Hull. Where they are now expected to win especially with injuries and you could lose some of the fight and desire you had.

Fair enough boss but if we had turned up then we would still have beaten Hull

I've never been one for comments like these including for Spurs. The losing team can always say "but if only we had turned up" can't they?

If you did turn up and Hull lost then they could say "if only we had turned up" and could have been in this position they are in now.

But obviously we aren't playing anywhere near the level we were last season. It's clearly not the same Leicester for whatever reason.

The team of last season would have demolished them

Looks very much like the Leicester of last season. Draw them on, hit it long. Only difference it that Hull have been disciplined enough to sit very deep with the two CBs and given Leicester the respect you didn't get last season.

Always rated Mike Phelan when he was at United. By all accounts he took a lot of the responsibility for training and tactics in the later years under Ferguson.

Well done Hull, you have to say they deserved it.

Deserved for Hull. Set up well against us and took advantage of our woeful defending.

Huth straight back in. Amarty may be needed to cover the back 4. We certainly can't be open like that against the top teams.

Difference between last year? We'd have won that 0-1 defending well. Today it looked like Hull could run riot!

Well played Hull

Always hard when the other team has issues not of their making and have their backs against the wall but we need to turn up next week because Arsenal will crucify us if we play anything like that.

Musa was ok but to be fair the other 10 who started were still in America weren't they?

It's nothing like the Leicester of last season. Nowhere near. It's not about tactics, it's about the performance level

F'kin awful. Players looked unfit and unprepared, almost a throwback to the Sousa era. Hernandez looks like a liability at centre half at this level, at least in a two CB system. King is not a Kante and we need to work out how we fill his position quickly - Mendy, Amartey or a midfield 5. Or even bring in a new midfielder. Vardy and Musa aren't on the same wavelength yet. And Mahrez was poor.

A very disappointing start to the season.

I think Mike should should be given a run of matches to see how he handles the squad. He certainly has the knowledge and experience in football. Would like to see him succeed.
