According to raman bawheid and Talksport. Hardly the most reliable of sources but they claim he could be up for a medical tomorrow.

Rumours that the fee is anywhere between £1.5m and £1.8m.

Interesting signing. Struggled last year but was free scoring the year before that. Preston fans seem gutted that he's leaving as well.

Didn't say that. I said he struggled last seaosn, which he did, as Preston changed style after promotion. Before that, the two seasons previously, he scored 43 in 72 which suggests he knows where the goal is.

Really prolific in league one, really unprolific in the Championship

Then again so was Griffiths, so you never know.

I've always thought that skill doesn't necessarily make a striker a success in Scotland, a certain style and attitude seems to work up here more than pure talent.

This boy seems to need to be in the right league to do well, maybe a bit boom/bust for that kind of money, but he could be a star.
