How do Perez's stats compare with Aspas in the Spanish League?

Quite a fair article and it centres in on the point I made yesterday that Wenger has to commit to Lucas and build around him. But if Wenger continues to play Giroud up front, our ability to counter attack is negated which then makes Lucas's signing pretty ineffectual. We have played Podolski, Gervinho, Arshavin, Oxlade, Walcott, Alexis and Welbeck around Giroud and it hasn't improved our attack. In fact so many of those players were moved on. Replacing Giroud is the key. Unfortunately Lucas's fee will not force Wenger to stick with Lucas as a replacement through tough form times as he has done with Alexis and Ozil. This inevitably means no change of style. I hope I am wrong about Wenger, unfortunately judging by the speed he gave up on Theo up front last season even though we won 8 out of 9 games he started as striker suggests I am not.

Cant go unnoticed too the amount of lefties being assembled in the squad:

Lucas Perez (if it goes through)
Granit Xhaka
Ozil
Wilshere
Giroud
Monreal
Gibbs
Cazorla ? (Really of sure of Santi's stronger side)

Perez last season stats are very similar to Aspas stats the season before you signed him.

i'm not sure about this perez signing dont think he is good enough to really improve us

Not the "top top" striker many of us hoped for, but with the number of chances we create do we even need a player of that calibre?

It's just enough that he'll be an upgrade on Giroud

what we need is a clinical finisher
