Its very precise and they are right on a few counts I.e Can't defend set pieces, individual errors and poor at winning aerial duels. Cant see how they can state we attack down the left more and attempt through balls often. Someone came up with it

So all our weaknesses are down to poor defending, making errors, yet three of the four players rated at 7 and over are defenders suggesting they are playing well above average (remember it's out of 10 therefore 5 is average)

Bamba and Cooper are both solid aerially. Biggest mistakes come on the ground.

One unquestionable fact is we take players from other clubs who their fans really rated and seem to get the worst out of them. Dallas and Dave from Brentford , Dallas in particular frustrates the he'll out of me and then Murphy who seems to have gone completely backwards. Feel Murphy will do well when he is at another club. Just hope Roofe doesn't go the same way.

Matty the stats start at 6 (average) and are used as the starting benchmark for each player/team at the start of a match, and these are updated every 30 seconds using over 200 algorithms via OPTA stats. So any player above that figure is playing above average in a particular game, this then provides their own and their teams overall average stats to date. Players and teams can also fall below 6 if they are having a nightmare of a game

OPTA are the worlds leading provider of sporting statistics and used by nearly all the top football clubs and media outlets as well as all the bookies. So hardly complete balls, maybe just incorrect based on someones superior personal knowledge and views..

Cooper was perfectly solid for most of last year. He has mistakes in him but so do all defenders. He is getting himself experience at this level and he will only grow. Sounds to me like you're having your opinion and knowledge on Cooper and Taylor shaped heavily by other people, Harj.

Murphy is another player who has done better for us than people give him credit for. Hard worker and good physically with a better passing range than almost anyone in the squad imo.
