ManCity - 2 - Sterling,Stones
Spurs - 5 - Walker,Rose,Kane,Alli,Dier

Swansea - 2 - Naughton,Routledge

Are these numbers not a bit disappointing?

When players like Stones and Sterling cost around £50m each and aren't as good as say Huth for £3m (ok not as a footballer but as a centre half and a defender) and Mahrez for €350k, then it's no wonder why there are so few English players in each team.
English players are well overpriced and overrated.

English players simply aren't that good! That's what it boils down to. If the talent was there then I'm sure people would pay for them. In terms of bringing in youth through the academy, I couldn't care less if they're English or not tbh
