Ever since this bloke arrived I've been calling him a plank, bloody useless and nowhere good enough to be our reserve keeper
Today he made me eat my words BIG TIME
One of the best individual performances I've seen for years
Sorry Mr Vorm
Sorry Mr Vorm

Always backed him but I always and continue believe a 2nd GK needs to play minimum 1 if not 2 games a month for the U21/23 now team to keep match practice.
Last season he played lesta twice in a row ( cup games ) and was shaky first and quality week later as he was up to speed.

Agreed I have always been on the fence with regards to Vorm. He didn't have play a blinder today. LLM always berates him to, surely he has put his doubters to bed today.

Harry Redknapp used to say that a good goalkeeper was worth 17 points a season.
Well, after Worm's performance today, you know why!

If he plays like today, he don't need no more games - he's ready!

I don't berate vorm I think he is top quality but he needs the game time.
Is it a surprise he played well today? Of course not because he has played all pre season and hasn't missed a beat. He is a great keeper.
Sit him on the bench until January and bring him into a game it's a different story.
He has to be a number one, he isn't suited to a number 2 role. Some keepers are like that. Some excel at number 2 elliott, Harper of Newcastle fame spring to mind.

Chronic it was your comments I remembered. Apologies LLM my memory is getting disorted with each passing season. Vorm definitely did himself no harm with yesterday's performance.
