29 shots 9 on target in an away matchalthough quite a few were blocked freekicks and Pogba wayward shots

20 of those shots are from Valencia "crossing" the ball.

Valencia gets a bad rep, and to an extent rightly so. lets face it, he's never going to be the best in the world there, but he does seem to be getting better. On the other flank we've got a good defender who has pace and nothing else in an attacking sense, maybe not a bad thing, but can't be too harsh on Valencia (in an attacking sense) when it's kind of the same on the opposite flank.

I'll bite Baz, why won't Jose be allowed to drop Rooney?

Why has no one else dropped Rooney? i don't know the figures, and to be honest I don't care, but I bet there's still a lot of money to be made from Rooney"s name, despite the fact he only turns up rarely these days. Marketable asset, in a capitalist football world.

Probably true. He is apparently getting England captaincy going forward as well, so that will help sell some more shirts

I also remember SAF dropping him for a CL game against Madrid.

That was one game, and that was SAF. Enlighten us on the games LVG dropped him from then?
