More Goals ?

Hey what a start to the season, and it continues today against Wolves. But (there's always a but) do we need to score more goals?

(1) got to, just got to keep Nahki
(2) I think we need another of his ilk. What happens if he is injured, ill, or just exhausted like he seemed to be at the end of last season. Just don't think Kachunga, good as he is, is of the same predatory nature.

Just waiting for Ward to score, well everyone else is doing, which is great, and I know some will say some people are never satisfied, but I would like our GD to be upped which could be important place wise at the end of the season. P 5, GD 4, points 13 great but can we keep hanging on to a single goal lead. Defence beefed up and rightly so however with a few more goals we could be really really up there and out of reach by anybody !

Any views ?

We don't need more goals as such (as we're out scoring the opposition 80% of the time!) but we certainly need to make sure we find the rewards during our spells of domination as all this 1 goal lead stuff isn't good for my ticker

Hard to find too much to be critical about at the moment though. 13 points out of 15 including two relegated PL sides away from home. Dreamland for Town fans

I fully agree with you Yorks. And ive got a sneaky feeling we'll bring a striker in by the end of the month. Not silly money like Derby are about to pay.But possibly an unknown. 👍

But I also agree with champers. It's dreamland so far

Could happen Hydy. The start we've made must be food for thought for Deano. There really is a good side in the making here right now but there is just that nagging doubt about depth at striker.

I must admit I've gone from viewpoint of 'cash in' to 'keep at all costs' where Nahki is concerned. Looks a class act this season. That bit of skill in the first half was amazing and had people on their feet. He looks determined, hungry, and above all, sharp. If he can get his head down and stick it out this season then who knows where we could end up. He scored plenty in a much worse team last season....

I still think Wells will go and buying a striker is a must. If Wells stays, then new striker rotates along with the squad. Town have a chance of a very good season, a good striker who scores goals could be the difference.

It's fantastic that goals are being scored by various players. Actually, every goal has been scored by a different player. However, strengthening the frontline can do no harm.
