Yesterday, commentators, summarisers, analysts, Journos and some fans were united in their criticism of Claudio Bravo after he dropped a ball whilst being blocked off by Stones. The main thrust being would Joe have done that.
Seems like they had their answer today as Joe did almost the same thing and cost his side a goal.
I hope the Torino fans give Joe a break as we will or should give Claudio one.
Mistakes happen, let's move on. Nice to see the media get a bite on the backside though
What will they say now ?

To be fair , my post was aimed at the media comments which were probably already written in draft as a dig at Pep's decision and has rebounded on them

To be fair, distribution and recycling is much better.
Bravo will need to get to know those players in front of him, and to understand who's shouting for what. Not sure what his English level is like, but I would be surprised if Stones didn't shout for that ball he spilled.

We understand fanfrom65
Claudio has only had 2 training sessions it was a risk putting him in.
It paid off as we were massively superiour to Man U.

Why play him then?

To get him started as soon as possible.

Yeah I see that LQ but Caballero would have made more sense.
Giving the lad his debut away at our place was foolish and it nearly cost you too. Despite being much the better football team on the day, 2 or 3 of his 5 or 6 mistakes could have been punished on another day. The Zlatan chance right before the break and the Penalty which wasn't given being stand out ones.
Pep on one hand looked like a genius with the midfield set up but he also looked a bit of a t1t with Bravo.
He will improve, I'm sure, but that has to be the worst debut I can remember.

Our next game is 'Gladbach in the CL, just as important to the club if not the fans if they're honest.

I agree with Stretty that it was a risk, but Pep was always going to back him. For the fans the United game was the big one, for the owners the CL is bigger so getting him bedded in before that made sense. He had little to do to show if he does have the quality needed. Time will tell. Jose took risks with selection with guys he brought in, that didn't come off, Pep took a risk and it turned out (just) ok.

If the red sorry ref had done his job properly Rooney wouldn't have been on the pitch to try and win that penalty.

With the way the Hart episode unfolded and concluded, if Bravo didn't play whilst fit, the media would have had a field day.
