Walsall v Bolton Wanderers

Bolton head down to the Midlands today to the bescot stadium. Bolton still top of the league(I don't know how after 3 1-1 draws on the bounce) face Walsall in 20th with just 6 points. An easy game or another banana skin? I suspect the later. Hoping for a repeat of the result of the last time the 2 clubs met on 19th September 2006 when Bolton won 3-1in the league cup with goals from Nolan, campo and Anelka. Sigh. Also on that date that panorama programme aired. Team news. Pratley, dervite and mavies permanently injured. Spearing suspended. Clayton a month away, Madine getting closer. Clough fit enough for the bench, derik still not 100%. Expecting the one change from last week with Thorpe coming in for spearing. Young Alex is on the coach today as a reward for scoring 4 goals for the u23s in midweek.

Should Proctor be playing ?
There's a headline in the Beano which seems to say he should be rested until his tummy upset is fully cured. Perhaps if he saw a dietician it may help

I've been lurking in the dark corners, but now we have recorded a loss, my self imposed ban is over.
Everything has been said already, PP's honeymoon period is over and looks like we are back to normality. PP needs to work on his defence to start keeping clean sheets, then sort a poacher out. If that means playing a 4 goal scorer from the youth team, then let him play I say.

Isaac you are back just in time to get all excited and read the Beano's hype as they prepare for next weekends game early this week in an effort to take the minds off how much work is needed before we'll be able to do the basics like run pass accurately and score.

Have you noticed there is no report for the U23 team away at Charlton. All the coach trips must have taken their toll on young Alex he only managed to hit the post as they lost 2-0.
Oh it all happened on Monday if you didn't know well why would you know it's not reported anywhere around these parts I had to call the Evening Standard sports desk to find out the result and match summary I dread to think what my phone bill will be now.

The Beano reports that Clough won't be rushed back, even though he was the leading goal scorer last season with Seven yes 7 goals.
Says it all ,WE NEED A GOAL SCORER. Until then we won't top this league again.

Is this a good time to remind you all again that this league is normally won by high scoring teams ?
Nah I best not remind you as I know with our scoring record it would only depress you.

Thank Crunchie its Friday it's been a long hard week of hype and build up for a match tomorrow the Beano has got giddier and more excited as each day has passed.

Why do I get the feeling it will be like that box of standard fireworks whose most exciting display was in the picture on the front of the box when big day came the blue touch paper lit I stood back watched and waited with great anticipation Nothing what a let down.
Will we see the words fizzled out in Mondays Beano ? I can't see the headline being an explosive display by Wanderers thrill the crowd not unless we are saving a goal scorer for the big bang grand finale.
