Bolton Wanderers v Bradford City

Bolton now 2nd in the league 2 points adrift of the free scoring Scunthorpe face one of the teams breathing down their necks at the macron today bradford city who are sat in 4th place and just one point behind bolton. There is an added edge to this game with the Bradford fans being bitter at Phil Parkinson's summer departure from the club to bolton. Similar to the way big Sam left bolton to go to Newcastle. As mentioned Bolton no longer top of the league thanks to a run of 3 draws and 1 defeat. There is a scenario if bolton lose today they can drop out of the top 6 altogether and get overtaken by giants such as bury, port vale and fleetwood! A big crowd expected today with Bradford bringing over 4000. Hoping for a win but can only see a draw at best 1-1. Team news. Mavies out for the season. Pratley, dervite(more investigation required in his case)Madine and Clayton still out long term with no dates set for their comebacks. Keshi Anderson is suspended and jay spearing returns from suspension. Clough now fit but maybe on the bench. Maybe time to freshen the team and I would drop trotter and Buxton today and go for Howard. Wilson wheater Beevers Taylor. Henry vela spearing c.taylor. Clough ameobi. Unlikely though as proctor and Buxton seem to be pps favourites but deserve to be dropped.

Do we let the defenders defend, and let any extra players we can spare, go forward .( that can't score anyway )
Or just get Alex Samizadeh in the team . if he's not ready, simple neither are any of the first other first team players either.🤔

Wilkinson will likely end up the clubs top scorer this season. What odds on player of the season being Alex who doesn't see the first team unless its a day trip out reward.

Its worrying as there is not much sign of PP changing things to produce the goals that win games.

It's alright chaps we are really very good it's just Bradford slipped in half the RSC as ringers to do all the play acting today PP has found them out so all will be fine provided we don't play a bunch of cheats every week.

Excuses for the next match on a postcard please.

What I have seen live of Wilkinson hes poor. Worse than proctor if thats possible. His 2 goals last Saturday were deflected efforts that went in. Maybe It was luck or his new manager knowing how to play football at this level and tell the lad just shoot when you see the goal. Bolton can recall him in January once they have sent henry and ameobi back to their parent clubs. Just be grateful they are not on season long loans.

They all count if they go in they say goal scoring is a confidence thing Wilko wouldn't have got much of a confidence boost at Bolton whereas at Chesterfield he's got the confidence to have a go or set up his team mates similar might be said for young Alex by the timer he gets a run at the team he'll be fed up and more interested in a way out.
Saying that if we give him a chance now it could ruin him as we are not producing the goods for a striker like him to take on. We need to change the play to give the goal scorers the final ball they can take on and score from.

Not long to go now before another exciting episode of the BWFC League 1 adventure.
Don't forget your iSpy book of ex whites and look out for our old pie eating export Sammi Odelusi on Tuesday who may make a guest appearance it was often said he may find his level in a lower league we could get the blame for a disaster if it turns out to be true.

Now I've calmed down. The positives are Bolton are now organised and hard to beat. After that shambles last season it's very welcome. I can take draws against top sides like this if we can beat the poorer teams. Got beat by Walsall though so no pressure against Rochdale then

Just watched goal rush channel 5.
Connor Wilkinson taking a free kick and hitting the post.
Then an assist for there goal. also
The free kick from Sheffield Utd against Scunthorpe can't see us taking such a good free kick ever.😩

Changes likely for Tuesday due to...
Zach - sore botty

U23's beat Ipswich 2-1 last night Alex nowhere to be seen speculation is the those visiting aliens have taken him.
Wheater, Buxton, Beevers might not be seen against R'dale the sick list grows
