Torino do have some good options at the back.

Brilliant

I agree on the Kisnorbo comparison. Thing is
though, Pontus is an upgrade skill-wise. How
he set up Wood's attempt where he hit the
post was spectacular for a CB. Step over, turn
to leave the Ipswich player dead, then a beauty
of a pass right into Wood's feet. Superb player.

Torino must have a wealth of riches to let him go.

Great for us.

He was a striker for most of his career, turned into a defender as they thought he had potential to be a good one. So yeah he's a attacking minded player also.

He could be a big threat for us at the other end too if we can get the right delivery to him the way he attacks the ball.

Shaun not sure where you got that info from?

shauns right.

pontus said in one of his interviews that he used to play up top.

posted on 26/9/16

He's played CB for every club since turning pro lots of players have different positions at youth level. Redebe was a striker at one point.

oh sorry didnt realise shaun had said 'most of his career'

he probably played up top for a few games at youth level.

chose to be a CB in 2010 according to wiki. so most his career hes been a CB

I knew he had to stand in once for us but couldn't remember the game!..

Wiki is a good read on him!..

"Radebe originally started his career with the Kaizer Chiefs as a goalkeeper!..

I think I heard it said by commentators in a European game I think that he used to be the South African keeper, but that was that long ago maybe my minds playing games!..

So nothing new there me thinks!.

Testimonial game 37+000 and another in Africa, all money to Charity!..

The sort of bloke he is, one of the best you could ever think off!.
