First off, what a win yesterday and an outstanding performance from the lads. I wanna give a special mention to Kos and Mustafi, I thought they were brilliant yesterday, they didn't give Costa a sniff all match and as much as I can't stand the guy, he is a quality striker on his day there is no doubt.
They looked strong, fast and solid, both were on there game position wise. It looks to be our most exciting partnership since Campbell and Toure during the invincible year. Although it's early days, if these two can stay fit then you never know what we might be capable of this season.
Quick mention to Theo, Sanchez and Ozil, they look a hell of a combo, as I said everyone was outstanding. We now need to keep this sort of pace up in most games.

Kos and Mustafi did use their "get out of jail free card" yesterday. That run and tackle by Bellerin. and then there was a great tackle by Gibbs late on.
Point being teams defend as a unit and keepinmg a clean sheet is often down to the whole team rather than just picking out a couple of players. They did play well though, obviously.

This, i mean Costa was isolated upfront but even he managed to bully Koscielny at times put him on his backside in first 10 mins? Amazes me how Arsenal fans think hes best CB in the prem hes weak as fack gets bullied and brushed off the ball so much doesn't even have to be a strong striker could be anyone.

Costa got away with a few fouls early on and pushed Kos over a couple of times and got away with it. The ref then caught on what was happening and gave a couple of fouls against Costa for he stopped. Once it was a fair competition with the fouls being given Kos had Costa in his back pocket.

I did an earlier article about how similar i think they are. with that being said i only hope they can develop a system where despite their similarities they can complement each other to our benefit.
