I've never advocated Monk be sacked, but always said that he's an idiot to work for Cellino.

He's had 4 weeks or so of grief from bad results, he's now had 4 weeks of sainthood from narrow wins v bottom of table Blackburn and Cardiff and then the mighty Barnsley.

I hope that the latter period continues, but we're always 3 results or so away from implosion and threats of head coach sackings.

Would be great to see a season of stability even if it finishes with mid table mediocrity, but hopefully breaks the lunatic cycle that Cellino brings.

We've actually played well Jonty and deserve the wins and points, I think Monk has done a very job turning results round and mid table is HUGE failure, I'll never accept that.

Harrogate, I'd agree re mid table under another owner, but unfortunately, mid table under Cellino is quite an achievement I feel.

I agree that we're playing better, but under Monk's tenure we've also had some shockers, we both know how topsy turvy form can be with Cellino at the top.

I hope we continue in a positive vein, but lets see us perform against some of the top teams, because so far we've fallen short in that department.
