Question for you regarding the fee, when we sell someone according to a lot on here the fee quoted is never correct, it includes add ons etc, does anyone have any proof we have paid £3m or does it include add ons, £3m upfront seems a lot to pay for someone from div2.

I think, with the new sky money in the prem, all prices are inflated, although it doesn't balance out fairly in the championship downwards.
Really should be a 3/500k player and it's obviously added pressure to his game.
If you look at Pontus for 3.6m, Roofe's fee is poor value to say the least.

I would, because he went to a prem club ( 5m) which with their income, is a low fee compared to ours.

True don, wont be 3 mill up front. Problem is clubs and their 'undisclosed fees'. If they released the information it would stop media quoting overpriced transfers.

Dele Ali was not a one season wonder and was monitored for much longer. The best youth have scouts on them from the get go.

A big thing was made about ant and roofe being monk signings.

Now we are saying they don't fit the system.

If that's the case it's just poor scouting on monks part

Think we should focus on Bartley, Jansson, Ayling and Sakho who are looking like very good finds.

If we sign those three full time and don't say we can't afford it then great.

Otherwise it's 5 mill we could have spent on them rather than players on the fringe cause they don't fit our style of play
