Still not that impressed with Klopp and Liverpool. Sure, they play good and exciting attacking football but defensively they are shocking. Can't defend set pieces for crap


When the fixtures start to pile up, I still think they'll have trouble keeping everyone fit because Klopp's gegenpressing is very demanding in a physical sense.

i think u will find we achieved more trophies than ANY other English team fella..as for spurs well, ...bale played well for em/

Sorry Vishnu but I do think the set piece weakness is overplayed.

They've only conceded 3 more than us having played a game more and with arguably a harder run of fixtures.

Liverpool have scored 7 more than us, and the fact they have been so fluid going forward will stand them in good sted.

I think we have the potential to be performing as well as them, if not better, but we are yet to click.

There's no team that are head and shoulders above anyone else this season and it could be any one of Arsenal, City, Pool, Chelsea, Spurs or Utd that could win the league.

I'm not even talking about defensive solidity. I'm talking about matches where everything doesn't quite click into place.

Klopp's system is effective when it works. So is Pep's. So is Mourinho's.

But the latter two have systems work more often than Klopp's. They have fewer 'off days', as evidenced by the fact that they both have a long track record of producing title winning teams that finish with huge point tallies.

Klopp can only really point to 2012 when he won 81 points in 34 games (which scales to about 90 points in real money). Mourinho and Pep are both experts at squeezing consistency out of their side, season after season, and making sure that they can win in any given situation. Klopp needs too many things to go his way and that's not going to wash in the PL.

He may be a title winner in Germany, but he won't make Liverpool a machine. That's what you need to finish top over here.
