Those dropped points yesterday could prove vital at the end of the season

We kept a clean sheet and picked up a point in the sort of game we have lost so many times over the last few years. We missed 3 players who are capable of linking midfield and attack in Santi, Xhaka and Ramsey. It was our first mini-injury crisis of the season (although Xhaka was banned it was injuries to the other two meaning none of the three where available).

It was a very disappointing result and the sort of game where that elusive world class striker that I have wanted to see signed by the club for years could have made the difference. But with the players available it was not a completely unforeseeable result.
