7 goals in 21 starts first season, not a bad ratio on a poor team. Wolves last last season was the start, he scored 5 in 7 was it back when he came back into the fold. His power made the forest players look stupid, at times. Scored against Fulham and Rotherham too, that's all I remember, he's not great but to be lablled swhite is well wide of the mark.

He might have scored 7 in 21 but his overall stats are about 9 in 50. For a striker, scoring 1 in 5 is poor.

I'd leave out one of viera, okane or phillips. It's different if we were playing Hernández (depends if he's fit). It worked well having those three away from home but we need to push on more at home.

I don't think he's suddenly going to be a great player but he's our player and could improve under Monk and at least play some part in the season. Should reward a good performance and tell him to go out and do it again.

Can't argue with that. As you say, depends on Pablo being fit or not.

I saw a comment on twitter that I agree with: All that matters is how these players can play under Garry Monk.

Doukara has been poor for us the last two seasons, but was good last night under Monk. So he could be useful this season.

Is that suggesting we play 442 by leaving a center mid out?

We are winning games playing 451, so why on earth change it to a formation that saw us nearly rock bottom after 3/4 games?

Madness I'm afraid, that was a cup game last night, back to normality on Sat with a team doing well in the League.

If Pablo is back harrogate then yeah lets play 451, but Phillips offered nothing in that role against Wolves. Doukara is hardly an out and out striker, he drops back and goes wide. As long as he works as hard as he did, I don't see an issue with it.

The team picks itself every week if Pablo is fit....no changes.

The team last night you could say played the best game so far this season, maybe used right and one or two at a time could be used in the first team without affecting the way its playing!..

They showed last night they can play!..

Id also suggest it is very unfair to say Doukara has been poor for two seasons. He always puts in a decent shift. He has actually scored 12 goals for Leeds in league and cup now but his scoring record could be better. However, he has had limited starts.

Hes not as good as some others but he is a lot better option then Erwin!!

A bit of a forgotten man really and last night showed he can play a part in our season. I think rest of team fed of his aggression and attitude just like at Wolves last year.

Just won us a match More than "useful" .. ball-winner, ball-keeper, player-beater and sharp opportunist!
Should be a regular 1st team starter.

I think he maybe fell out of favour with Gary Monk because he had some loyalty to Steve Evans, who really brought him on and gave him a run in the side?
