What will save Jose? Tactics or Money?

Morning lads

As the title suggests - do you think Jose's management will be the key to returning Manchester United back amongst the title challengers or will further spending be his saving grace?

I'm aware we're only 9-10 games in but that's still a quarter of the season gone and United still look disjointed and with Jose getting into trouble with the FA, frustration is rife at Old Trafford.

Jose is touted as being amongst the top 5 coaches on the planet. Should fans accept that throwing more money around is the best way for United to climb back up the table?

Lets say hypothetically he spends another 75-100m in the January window and United go on to claim 4th spot - will people be calling Jose a genius? Or will he have spent his way out of trouble?

Is this what United fans wanted from his appointment?

Actually I should have said 30not 40. I think the conversion rate would have us around 30 league goals if we Arsenal finishing.

No you didn't you fibber, I quoted you verbatim, look;

"If we had Arsenal conversion rate instead of 13 goals we would be near on 40 goals I believe"

Near on 40

Only SAF can save Jose now

Erm, not sure as I do take your point. It's easy to forget that Rodgers record in big games (and indeed Europe) was awful.

I can't remember the stats but I think Klopp won more games against top four teams in his first three months than BR did in his entire tenure.

I also think that going on long cup runs effected our league form.

We won more games than Spurs last season and played and awful lot of football. If you take into account having no preseason with the players, new to the league and making no signings I think he did a good job really.

Robbing

Plus you could see the signs of how he wanted us to play early on, and it was positive.

I think he was shocked by the long ball at first. You could see how angry he was after palace.

So he's put in a block of four in front of the 18 yard box and hey presto the long ball fails.

Posh Mufc Great Hafi Not Arrogant Just Better –

Football games are often settled by fine margins. Take the City game yesterday, if Gomes’ shot was an inch lower, it would have been 2-2 and momentum would have swung in Barca’s favour. Every team can look back on their missed chances. However, it won’t change the end result. Had United found an equalising goal against City, Pep would have been left to rue the error by Bravo which put United back in the game. You can’t keep highlighting the occasions in which United were unfortunate while ignoring the times when rival teams have misfortunate.

The sniper if Ibrahimovic didn't waste the big chances he has had we would be top of the league with a 100% record most likely. Crazy how one player has such an influence.

No.

It has become crazy how people are fixated on blaming one player for our troubles.

Every day people exaggerate Ibra's failings more and more.

he has missed a few chances that he is expected to score. That's all. The rest is exaggeration.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It really isn't.

He's missed his last 42 attempts at goal, that's attrocious.
