Evening lads
I know people like to talk or obsess over The Walking Dead but for me, it's one of those shows I can take or leave.
I see no end goal. It's just survivors moving from place to place and taking on a new antagonist. There really isn't much else.
Anyway, started watching The Exorcist a few weeks back and after 7 episodes, I'm hooked. Great acting (notably Ben Daniels), well directed, multi-layered narrative and genuine scares.
If anyone's looking for something fresh and is getting tired with TWD then give this a go. Really good stuff.

there are cults and conspiracies and politics and corruption and a build-up to a huge event finale

Didn't even know this was on. Fondly remember the original film - went to see it in Leicester Square when it first came out. Was awesome with people fainting throwing up and having hysterics.

I aim to watch this and have it recorded but I haven't started it yet. It's encouraging that people are enjoying it though because I was expecting the series to be disappointing, for some reason.

It started off well. Enjoyed the first few episodes but I think it's taken a bit of a dive unfortunately.

Yeah an awful lot of shows do that TRS. That was exactly my concern with The Exorcist (and every other tv show tbh)..
